Joe Banker Photography consists of myself (Joe) and my fiancée Ashley. On your wedding day, we focus on doing our best to make sure you get to enjoy your special day to the fullest. We are low stress photographers and absolutely love what we do!

We know that you've invested much of your time carefully planning and preparing leading up to your day, so we feel it is important to RELAX and ENJOY the happiest day of your life!

Ashley and I are homeowners in a suburb of Cleveland, where we met in 2011. At that time, we were enrolled in a college photography course together where we discovered that photography would be our career path. Since then, we have constantly worked on improving our skill set and expertise. In 2017 I made the jump to being a full time wedding photographer and never looked back. Ashley joined the full-time bandwagon in 2020. Since 2017, we have photographed over 184 weddings in 7 different states. We are a great team, complimenting each other's different strengths and weaknesses.

Ashley and I are born and raised Ohioans, so naturally, we love our sports teams. We are Cleveland Indians, Cleveland Browns, Cleveland Cavaliers, and even Cincinnati Reds season ticket holders. Weekday games are our favorite, since we are typically a little busy on weekends!

Year round, we love to get outdoors and enjoy nature. Fishing has always been a big part of my life and now I love sharing those experiences with Ashley. Whether we are ice fishing on frozen ponds or trolling for walleye on Lake Erie, somehow Ashley always finds a way to out fish me! Surf fishing has been a personal favorite as well since I was very young.

Like many Ohioans, we really enjoy the Carolinas, specifically the Lowcountry. We visit as much as we can each year and have been fortunate to establish our business down South and have opportunities to photograph Southern weddings and beach elopements! In the near future, we hope to establish a secondary residence to call our own in South Carolina.

When we are not out traveling, photographing or doing anything else, we spend a lot of time at home cooking, working on projects or hanging out with our five rescue cats. We had only planned on having one, but somehow Ashley keeps finding more!
